Your desktop icons can be hidden so that you are not able to see it. However, you want to show the desktop icons so that it will be easy for you to start working or check several things. If they are hidden, you are able to show them and we will show you how to do that.

Showing and Adding Desktop Icons in Windows 10

If you want to view the desktop icons, you are able to do that following the steps below.

  • First, you have t right click the desktop.
  • Then, you have to choose View and then choose Show desktop icons.

An SFC scan will check your entire computer for bad drivers or corrupted files and automatically will fix the issues. If you want to initiate SFC scan, you can press Windows + R keys simultaneously to open Run prompt. Then, types in ‘cmd’ and press ‘shift’ + ‘ctrl + ‘Enter’ keys simultaneously. Then, you have to click on Yes in the prompt to provide administrative privileges and then type in ‘SFC/scannow” and then press Enter.
