How to Remove Windows Spotlight

Microsoft has added a feature named Windows Spotlight in Windows 10. This one is responsible for all the background images, tips, and links that you see in the lock screen. It is one of the first aesthetic features a user sees when signing into the computer running the Microsoft Windows 10 operating system.

Windows Spotlight is one of the most favorite features of the users of Windows 10. However, not everyone agrees. There might some users who find it this kind of thing annoying and want to get rid of this feature.   2. Fifth, modify the policy setting as follows and then click OK:
  • Check Enabled.
  •  Type the full image path, of the image that you want to use as the background at the lock screen.
  •  Check Turn off fun facts, tips, tricks and more on lock screen.

The good news is that you are able to use your own image for the lock screen background or you are able to make your life easier and use one of the default Windows lock screen images. For those who do not have any slightly idea, all the images are store at the following folder on your PC: C:\Windows\Web\Screen\.
